Richard B. DeNune, Sr.

A Celebration of Life for Richard DeNune, Sr., 84, of Martinsburg, OH, will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Martinsburg Activity Center.

Richard passed away October 29, 2021, at Knox Community Hospital.  He was born September 21, 1937, in Columbus, OH, to the late William and Ruth (Fravel) DeNune

Richard was a retired truck driver and former mayor of Martinsburg for six years.  He loved semi's, country music, Earnhardt, and most of all his family.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Hewitt) DeNune; children, Rick (Judy) DeNune of Johnstown, Dawn (Clint) Beiers of Johnstown, David (Heather) DeNune of Martinsburg, and Veronica (Charles) Whitcraft of Martinsburg; brother, Rodney DeNune of Martinsburg; sister, Yvonne (Ron) Galasso of PA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Gary Wingo, William DeNune, and Richard DeNune, Jr., and grandsons, Nathan DeNune, Mathew Piper, and Micah Guthridge.
