Utica - A funeral service for Richard B. Murphy, 47 of Utica, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2013 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Jill Street of Miracle Life Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 17 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica.
Richard died January 14, 2013 at Cleveland Clinic. He was born June 12, 1965, in Mount Vernon to Ronald B. and Karen M. (Brechler) Murphy.
Richard loved music and played bass guitar.
He is survived by his parents, daughters, Rachel Murphy of Utica and Renee Murphy of Newark; six grandchildren, Adrian Hershner, Spencer Hershner, Caleb Heald, Kearstyn Smith, Konner Kidd and Kayden Murphy; sisters and brother-in-law, Cindy Lawson, Shana and Larry McKee all of Utica.
