Robert H. Householder

Johnstown - A graveside service for Robert H. Householder, 90 of Johnstown, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Bennington Chapel Cemetery with military honors. Reverend Eva Marie Wolfe will officiate.

Mr. Householder died January 5, 2015 at Selma Markowitz Center/LMH, Newark. He was born February 24, 1924, in Johnstown to the late Homer and Stanza (Needles) Householder.

Robert was a member of Appleton Methodist Church. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran, member of American Legion Post 254 and worked 38 years for Owens Corning. He was a 1942 graduate of Johnstown High School. He was an avid baseball fan and coached Little League Baseball.

He is survived by wife of 67 years, L. Charlene (Eder) Householder of Johnstown; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Rhonda Householder, daughter and son-in-law, Lila and Joe Bolen, four grandchildren, Daniel Bolen, Curt (Kirby) Householder, Mitchell (Jennifer) Householder, and Angela McMillen; seven great-grandchildren, Koby, Carly, Kenzie, Camden and Cali Householder, and Skylar and Sierra McMillen; nephew, John (Fran) Householder.

He is preceded in death by son, Lee Householder; brother, Judson Householder.
