Robert E. Ransom, Jr.
Utica - A funeral service for Robert E. Ransom, Jr., 50 of Utica, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2011 at Northside Church of Christ, 4427 Marion Rd., Newark with Bruce Hissong officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery.
Robert died August 17, 2011 at his residence. He was born April 24, 1961, in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Robert E. and Audrey A. (Hellwig) Ransom, Sr.
Robert was employed by Ariel Corporation, Mount Vernon and he loved hunting, fishing and music.
He is survived by his sister, Debra L. Ransom of Fredericktown; nephew, Justin Whisner; nieces, Erin Whisner and Heather Ransom.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Ransom, Sr. who passed away Sept. 6, 1981, mother, Audrey A. Ransom who passed away December 2, 2010, and sister, Sharon K. Ransom who passed away September 5, 2010.
