Roger Martin Miller Sr., 77 of Newark, OH passed away on February 7, 2017 at the Selma Markowitz Center in Newark, OH. He was born on August 6, 1939 in Hannibal, OH to the late Milford "Conn" and Elizabeth "Betty" M. (Yerian) Miller. He was a graduate of Hannibal River High Class of 1957.
Roger loved music, especially playing the piano, and the arts. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and devoted family man.
He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Leoshia Sue (McCoy) Miller of Newark, sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Keith Miller, Roger Martin, II and Tina Miller, Vincent Lee and Amy Miller and John Michael Miller, step-daughter, Shanon and John Rutherford, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, brother and sister-in-law, Robert N. and Linda Miller, sisters and brother-in-law, Mary G. and Rob Himmel, Sara G. Miller; sister-in-law, Lois McCoy and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled later this summer.
