Ronald E. Cannon
May 17, 1944-July 28, 2017

A funeral service for Ronald E. Cannon, 73 of Utica, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 31, 2017 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Victor Slutz officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call 2:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the funeral home with a Masonic Service at 4:45 p.m.
Ron passed away July 28, 2017 at Arlington Care Center, Newark surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 17, 1944, in Newark to the late Bernard W. and Dorothea A. (Beatty) Cannon.
Ron was a member of Eden Church of Christ and an U.S. Army veteran. He was a retired electrician from Newark Air Force Base/Boeing and was a member of Bladensburg Eastern Star, Licking Lodge #291 F.&A.M. and Utica American Legion Post 92. He loved tinkering and fixing things.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Donna J. (Gordon) Cannon; sons and daughter-in-law, Heath and Elizabeth Cannon, Troy (Amy Patrick) Cannon; grandchildren, Johnathan (Mara) Cannon, Ashton Cannon, Samantha (Caden) Kieber, Katlyn Cannon, Shelby Cannon and Brandon, Ashton and Timmy; great-granddaughter, Macey Cannon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Linda Cannon, Charles A.and Elizabeth Cannon, and Dorothy Cannon; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Cannon.
