Rosa J. Miller
Utica - A funeral service for Rosa J. Miller, 74, a longtime resident of Utica, will be held Friday, December 5, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Melita Fellowship Church, 9956 Camp Ohio Rd. NE, St. Louisville.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, December 4, 2014, 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the church.
Rosa died unexpectedly on Dec. 2, 2014 at a church sewing event. She was born Oct. 05, 1940, daughter of Joe and Minnie (Troyer) Miller.
She was a faithful member of Melita Fellowship Church. She utilized her creative gifts in sewing, quilting, card making, crocheting, and gardening. She showed her love for Jesus throughout her life.
On May 26, 1960 she was married to Ora Lee Miller in LaGrange, IN. From there, Ora and Rosa moved to Utica, OH in 1970.
She is survived by her husband, Ora of Utica; four sons and one daughter; Richard (Bertha) Miller of Gambier, Wayne (Ada) Miller of Columbus, NC; Marion (Miriam) Miller of Gambier, Sharon (Jonny) Gingerich of Utica, and Arlen (Rita)Miller of Catlett, VA; seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild due in one month.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Karen Sue deceased 4 days after birth; and son Paul Eugene deceased at age10.
Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica is assisting the family with arrangements.
