A funeral service for Rosalie E. Lupher, 101, of Mount Vernon, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2016 at Utica Presbyterian Church, 9 S. Main St. with Terry Holobaugh officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery, Utica

Rosalie passed away June 16, 2016 at Mount Vernon Health & Rehab Center She was born May 29, 1915, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Hunter B. and Margaret (Stryker) Kitchen.
Rosalie was a longtime member of Utica Presbyterian Church and a former Girl Scout Leader. She was a member of LaSertoma, delivered meals on wheels and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, embroidering and baseball. Rosalie loved reading and reciting poetry.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harold P. Lupher; her children, Marcella Flowers of Bluffton, SC, Dianna Thomas of Utica, Sharon and Jerry Cashdollar of Newark, Jim and Louise Leasure of Newark, and Laura and Richard Hardman of Howard; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; special niece, Judy Kitchen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Grover A. Leasure; brother, James Kitchen; sister, Virginia Ingmire; grandchildren, Jennifer Marcum, Mark & Tim Flowers; sons-in-law, Richard Flowers, Ross Myers and Paul Thomas.
