Homer - Calling hour for Roy Y. Losh, 81 of Homer, will be held 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with the service at 12:00 p.m. Ron Street will officiate. Burial will follow in Homer Cemetery.
Roy died October 22, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born April 14, 1933, in Exchange, WV to the late Henry W. and Rosa (Perkins) Losh.
Roy worked at Cooper Bessimer in Mount Vernon and retired from Rockwell International in 1990 after 36 years. He worked with the Homer Fire Department for 19 years. Roy was a member of Mount Vernon Coin Club, American Coin Collectors Association and National Knife Collectors Association.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Danny May of Mount Vernon; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Alma Louise Schiefer of Exchange, WV.
He is preceded in death by his son, David; one great-grandson; four brothers; two sisters.
