Russell L. "Corky" Stone
Utica - A funeral liturgy for Russell L. "Corky" Stone, 80, of Utica will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Church of the Nativity Catholic Church, 126 N. Main St., Utica with Reverend Stephen A. Metzger as celebrant. He will be layed to rest at South Lawn Cemetery immediately following the liturgy.
By the grace of God he was born in West Virginia (almost heaven) on August 26, 1932 and was baptized to the Lord a few days later. He moved to Ohio in 1942 and died in Utica on August 21, 2013.
What family he has will receive friends at the Church of the Nativity, Friday, August 23, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 pm where a Vigil Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. for the repose of his soul.
