A funeral service for Sandra J. Bickel, 66 of Utica, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Pastor Walter Bruah officiating. Burial will follow at Homer Cemetery.

Friends may call 5:00-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bickel passed away January 28, 2017 at her residence. She was born November 5, 1950, in Columbus to the late Alvin C. and Elizabeth M. (Collins) Durban.

Sandra was a Northridge school bus driver and loved traveling and playing Bunco.

She is survived by her husband, John D. Bickel of Utica; son, Brian D. Adams of Columbus; daughters and sons-law, Amy S. Adams-Ward and Brian Ward of Powell, Cynthia J. Adams and David Brace of Orinda, CA; step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Susan Bickel of Alexandria; step-daughter, Trina Barton of Columbus; six grandchildren, Aidan Ward, Amelia and Agatha Adams-Brace, Gabriel and Nathaniel Farthing, Alicia Wallenberg; two great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Daisy Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Susan Durban, Jr of WA; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Harley Jacks of DE.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, David M. Adams, who passed away July 19, 1994.
