Sandra Jean Hubbard, 73 of Sunbury passed away on July 30, 2025 at Country View of Sunbury. She was born on February 23, 1952 in Newark, OH to the late William Everett and Mae Eloise (Ellas) Dietzel, Sr.

Sandy was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. She worked at Heartland of Centerburg and was a care giver for 30 years. She enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds and bowling. Most of all she loved her children and family.

She is survived by her sons, David Hubbard, Jr., Doug (Leah) Hubbard, Chad Hubbard, Jeremy (Amanda) Hubbard and Travis Hubbard; grandchildren, Devin, Reese, Cohen, Brooks, Gunnar and Trevor Hubbard; sisters, Nancy (Dean) Runyon, Susan (Paul) Robertson and Brenda (Jeff) Edler; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William Dietzel, Jr; and the father of her children, David Hubbard, Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Liberty United Methodist Church, 3375 Dutch Lane Rd., Johnstown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.
