Stanford J. (Harrah) O'Hara

Utica - A graveside service for Stanford J. O'Hara, 98 of Utica, will be held Friday May 31, 2013, 9:30 a.m. at Wilson Cemetery. Burial will follow with military honors by Licking Co. Veterans Alliance.

Friends may call Thursday, May 30, 2013, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica.

Stanford died May 27, 2013 at Arlington Care Center, Newark. He was born May 12, 1915, in Coshocton Co., Ohio to the late Glenn L. and Martha M. (Stanford) Harrah.

He was a World War II Army veteran. He retired from the Air Force Base and sold automobiles for Wahl Motors and Walker & Battat. Stan wa a school bus driver for North Fork Schools. He was a member of the American Legion, Masonic Lodge, BCW Lodge, O.E.S. Glenwood Chapter and Commandery Newark.

He is survived by his daughter, Carol Bricker of Utica, sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Susan O'Hara, Gene and Karen O'Hara all of Newark, eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, of fifty-eight years Agnes E. (Wenzel) O'Hara who passed away November 10, 1995; son, William O'Hara; brother, Larry Dean O'Hara; sisters, Beatrice Whitehead and Helen Smith.
