Steven E. Grigsby, Sr.

Bladensburg - Calling hours for Steven E. Grigsby, Sr., 56 of Bladensburg will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the home, 27361 Front Royal Rd., Bladensburg.

Mr. Grigsby passed away September 3, 2015 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. He was born December 9, 1958, in Newark to Ruth A. (Qualls) Walters and the late Donald H. Grigsby, Sr.

Steve loved his grandchildren and attending their sporting events. He enjoyed being with family and friends, riding motorcycles and playing pool. Steve never met a stranger. He was a member of Utica American Legion, Post #92 and America's Freedom Lodge.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Ruth A. and Larry Walters; son and daughter-in-law, Steven E. and Faith Grigsby, Jr. of Hanover; daughter, Niki Grigsby of Newark; step-sons and daughters-in-law, James and Jacki Lang of Mount Vernon, Jeremy and Jenna Lang of Danville; grandchildren, Autumn, Derrick, Clara and Evie Grigsby, Kelsea Hagans, Brody Altman, Herbie Leverton, Teddy Hagans, Christopher Lang, Brandon Lang, Michael Dunn, Alexis Lang, Devin Lang; great-grandchildren, Riylie and Kadence Leverton, Christopher Lang; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Kris Grigsby, Jr. of Homer, Brian and Tammy Grigsby of Newark, Rob Grigsby of Newark; sisters and brother-in-law, Kelley and Larry Williams of New Port Richey, FL, Teresa Jacks of Zanesville; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kim E. (Owrey) Grigsby who passed away May 20, 2014; father, Donald H. Grigsby, Sr.
