Thomas "Dave" Daniels

Croton - A funeral service for Thomas "Dave" Daniels, 68 of Croton, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Croton Church of Christ, 40 S. Main St., Croton with Dan Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford Cemetery.

Friends may call 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 10 at Croton Church of Christ.

Dave died April 8, 2013 at Centerburg Pointe Nursing Home, Centerburg. He was born January 1, 1945, in Columbus to the late William T. and Della (Fannin) Daniels.

He was a member of Croton Church of Christ. Dave was former mayor and town council member of Croton. He was formerly employed by Velvet Ice Cream and Centerburg Hardware. Dave liked classic cars and playing guitar.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Regina S. (Austin) Daniels of Croton, sons and daughter-in-law, Brian and Glennda Daniels of Centerburg, Brad Daniels and Drew Daniels both of Croton, seven grandchildren, Austin, Lindsey, Taylor, Reagan, Nevaeh, Owen and Della Daniels, brother, Julius Endicott, Jr. of Inez, KY, and special nephew, Jeff Edgerton of Columbus.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Dale Daniels, sister, Patsy Edgerton and daughter-in-law Darci Daniels.
