Thomas Lyle Hornsby, 75, of Martinsburg Ohio, passed away on August 19, 2022, at his residence. He was born May 26, 1947, to the late Lester and Dorothy Hornsby. He retired from Diebold, in Hebron, after 30 years.

Tom loved riding his Harley and enjoyed road trips with family and friends. He loved the 70's van life back in the day and was a true "hippie". He had his long beard for many years and took pleasure in all the ZZ Top comments he received. He loved and looked forward to the Hornsby family reunions in Michigan and the Francis family reunions in Dayton. He enjoyed traveling to Arizona to stay with his son and NASCAR events. He really enjoyed the company of longtime friends…just hanging out. Tom always loved living out in the country and away from the city life. There's no other place he would have rather been when he passed.

Tom is survived by his daughter, Tonya; son, Thomas Jr.; brother, Kenneth; grandchildren, Natasha, Brandi, and Timmothy; sisters-in-law, Debra and Betsy; nieces, Jessica and Karly; many cousins; and great nieces and nephews.

Tom is preceded in death by his dad, Lester G. (1999); mom, Dorothy J. (2016); brother, Rodney L. (2018); and wife, Donna L. (2009) who was the love of his life.

There were no formal services, rather a party was held in his honor; just the way he would have wanted.
