Newark - A graveside service for Vickie Lynn Poland, 49, of Newark, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013 at South Lawn Cemetery with Bruce Hissong officiating.
Calling hours will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, May 3 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica.
Vickie died April 30, 2013 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark. She was born January 19, 1964, in Phoenix, AZ to the late Austin and Judy (Milner) Climensen.
She attended Utica High School and was employed by McDonald's for 15 years and Midwest Health Services. Vickie was a loving wife, mother and grand mother and a stranger to no one. Her passions were attending her childrens activities and reading.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, James R. (Dick) Poland of Newark whom she married November 16, 1979, daughters and son-in-law, Jamie and Benji Cline of Silver City, New Mexico, Breeanna Poland of Muskingum University, sons, Richard Poland of the home, Kenneth Poland of Muskingum University, grandson, Noah Poland, adopted father, Morris Gullett, father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Alyce (Hyatt) Poland, uncle, Richard Milner, great aunt, Marile Glover, sister-in-law, Jill Cella, special friends, Chandler Marston and Cathy Combs, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Judy Gullett and Nanna, Betty Martin.
