A private graveside service for Viola M. Wilson, 104, of Utica, was held at South Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson passed away November 2, 2018 at Altercare of Newark North. She was born March 23, 1914, in Utica to the late Harvey and Anna Jacobs.

Viola was a homemaker and liked to knit and read.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Martha (Wolford) Wilson of Utica and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilbur J. Wilson, Jr., son, Wilbur J. "Billy" Wilson, III, brother, John Jacobs, sister, Stella English and Hazel McKnight.

Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica assisted the family with arrangements.
