Columbus - Calling hours for Wallace E. Southers, 64 of Columbus, will be held 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, Utica with the service at 12:00 noon with Pastor Bobby Smith officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery, Utica.
Wally died March 17, 2013 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. He was born January 6, 1949, in Williamson, WV to the late Okey and Margaret L. (Akers) Southers.
Wally was employed by AFSCME Ohio Council #8 and worked 19 years with Columbus Auto Parts. He loved working on houses and cars and was known to help anyone.
He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Erica and Travis Bradley of Grove City, Danielle Ward of Columbus, grandchildren, Shawnelle and Dashawn, brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Lois Southers of Norfolk, VA, Greg and Phyllis Southers of Williamson, WV, Jerry and Linda Southers of Ashland, KY, Thad and Donna Southers of Clemmons, NC, sisters, Margaret Johnson of Westerville, Nancy Southers of Grove City, many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
