Wanda L. Parkinson

Utica - Wanda, 82 of Utica, died December 20, 2011 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark. She was born August 13, 1929, in Licking County to the late Clyde and Mabel (Gutridge) Boring.

Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a farmer's wife and member of Morgan Grange who loved to cook, travel and care for her family and others. Wanda was a graduate of Jacksontown High School

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harold E. Parkinson; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Rosanne Parkinson, Jerry and Melissa Parkinson; daughters and sons-in-law, Penny and Frank McCoy, Patty and Bob Krueger all of Utica; thirteen grandchildren, Michelle McCoy Parikh of Webster Groves, MO, Dr. Robert Krueger of Utica, Melissa Krueger Ramsey of Stockton, CA, Jonathan McCoy of Soltillo, MS, Aleta Parkinson of Columbus, Christopher Parkinson of Newark, Michael McCoy of Evansdale, IA, Troy Parkinson and J.D. Parkinson of Utica, Tyler Parkinson of Baltimore, MD, Joshua Parkinson, Jessica Parkinson and Sonia Parkinson all of Utica;. five great grandsons and three great granddaughters; brothers and sisters-in-law, Calvin and Doris Boring of Heath, Ed and Donna Boring of Newark; sister, Betty Jane Seaton of Newark; brother-in-law, Richard Parkinson of Utica; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jean Ann and David Goss of Granville.
