William O. Dunlap

Akron - A funeral service for William O. Dunlap, 84 of Akron formerly of Utica will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Stephen Metzger presiding. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.

William, died July 2, 2012 at Bath Manor Special Care Centre, Akron. He was born July 17, 1927, in Newark to the late Claude and Lena Dunlap.

He was a employed for 44 years at Owens Corning Fiberglas Bill was a member of Glenwood Chapter #303, Licking County Shriners and former Grand Patron of the Ohio Eastern Star. He was a former member of Licking Lodge #291. Bill was a Korean Army veteran.

He is survived by son, William K. Dunlap of Utica, daughter, Carol D. Jones of Akron, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Darlene (Dixon) Dunlap who passed away August 3, 2004; brothers, Herman and Robert Dunlap.
