William E. Smith III

Sun City Arizona: Calling hours for William E. Smith of Sun City, Arizona will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday April 5, 2014 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 North Main St. Utica, followed by Military Honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance at 2:30 p.m. at Newark Memorial Gardens.

William died March 30, 2014 at Banner Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City Arizona. He was born February 11, 1945 to the late William Edward II and Eva Catherine (Keller) Smith.

He graduated from Tuslaw High School and Ohio State University. He served in Vietnam, with the United States Marine Corps. He also worked in heating and air-conditioning, later owning his own business in Mansfield.

He is survived by daughters, Kelly Hunkele and Heidi Kick, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, sisters, Carol Hasbrouck, Deborah Shaw, Jackie Kingery, and a brother Tom Smith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Connie Shaw and brother, Michael Smith.
