A funeral service for William J. Tyler, 76 of Utica, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2016 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Alan Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call 12:00-2:00 p.m., Friday, November 18 at the funeral home.
Mr. Tyler passed away November 16, 2016 at his residence. He was born November 16, 1940, in Centerburg to the late Mao and Nellie Hartrum) Angeletti.
William served two tours in the Army in Vietnam. He retired from Ohio Fresh Eggs, loved motorcycles and was a mechanic.
He is survived by his sons, Toby Tyler of Utica, Danny Tyler of Mt. Vernon; daughters, Stacey and John Shumate of Alexandria, Tina Tyler of Utica; seven grandchildren; brothers, Jim Tyler of Newark, Charles Angeletti of Columbus, Mao Angeletti, Jr. of Biloxi, MS, Tony (Sue) Angeletti of Newark; sisters, Mary Angeletti of Utica, Kip (John) Rutherford, Charlotte Nutter of Utica, Louise Hartrum of Hanover.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Grace E. (Allen) Tyler who passed away July 11, 2013; his brothers, Tom Tyler and Danny Angeletti.
