William H. Wilson A funeral service for William H. Wilson, 90, of Newark, formerly of Utica, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Utica Church of Christ, 115 N. Central Ave. with Alan Pratt and Gus Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery, Fredericktown. Friends and family may call 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, February 4 at the church. Mr. Wilson died February 1, 2015 at Chestnut House, Newark. He was born October 24, 1924, in Fredericktown to the late Caryl C. and Anna A. (Allgire) Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a member of Utica Church of Christ and Licking Valley Church of Christ. He was a minister at Edgerton, Sunbury, Eden and Martinsburg Church of Christ. He was a World War II Navy Veteran, a teacher at Utica Elementary School and a handyman who enjoyed carpentry. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Rosemary W. (Weller) Wilson of Newark; daughters and son-in-law, Marcie and Leon Bradley of Washington Court House, Sondra Wilson and Diantha Wilson, both of Newark; five grandchildren, Julianne (Jason) Wynne, Marcus (Amy) Bradley, Spencer Bradley, Emily Shaw and Lauren Heck; 5 great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Faith, Josiah, Malachi Wynne and Macy Bradley; many nieces and nephews.
