A funeral service for Zachary A. Boss, 32 of Johnstown, will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Pastor Dan McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow with military honors at Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown.
Friends may call 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, Monday, June 5, 2017 at the funeral home.
Zachary passed away May 31, 2017. He was born November 10, 1984, in Baltimore, Maryland to Kevin M. Boss and Susan E. (Oliver) Kolb.
Zachary was a Corporal in the U.S. Marines and served in the Iraqi Freedom War. He received many awards including the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal. Zachary was a wrestler while in the U.S. Marine Corps. Zach was a 2002 graduate of Severna Park High School, Severna Park, Maryland where he was all county varsity wrestler. He participated in the Naval Academy youth wrestling and was a member of Young Life Christian Youth Group and Our Shepherd Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Tiffany D. (Klotz) Boss; sons, Caiden Joshua Louis and Calvin Emmanuel Boss; father, Kevin (Julie) Boss; mother, Susan Kolb; brother, Cody Boss; sister, Brittany Boss; maternal grandparents, Phillip and Joyce Oliver; paternal grandmother, Ruth Boss and many other loving family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Boss.
